Compassion,  curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the inter-connectedness of body,  mind and spirit form the foundation for my work.

My aim is to help  you connect with your authentic self, to facilitate the natural  expression of peace and happiness, and to honor your deepest nature. I integrate somatic awareness, self-inquiry,  imagination, mindfulness, EMDR, and attention to the therapeutic  relationship, with the goal of helping you move towards greater  happiness and well being.

I have  extensive experience in the field of grief and loss through my work as a  grief counselor at Hospice by the Bay. I also have training in EMDR, a  trauma-focused therapy that has been shown to be an effective treatment  for PTSD (please see for more information).

My background  also includes work as a body worker and yoga instructor, as well as  training in mindfulness meditation. These modalities all serve to deepen  my work as a psychotherapist.

I am comfortable working  with a range of issues, including grief and loss, trauma recovery,  anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and relationship challenges.
